Accumulation tanks are used to store thermal energy and to maximize its’ availability within heating or cooling systems. When thermal energy sources are in operation, excess energy can be generated. Accumulation tanks optimize the operation of thermal energy source units and even out energy supply to the system. VoluTek tanks are dedicated for thermal energy transfer fluid storage in closed heating systems, domestic hot water systems as well as for storage of cooling. Preftek offers three different accumulation tank models: VoluTEK BS, VoluTEK SS and VoluTEK RF.
